Welcome
Welcome to Mud Ranch!
We are located in the Pacific Cascade mountains of the far northern reaches of California. We maintain a flock of around 45 registered Jacob sheep (give or take a few!) and strive to perserve the heritage breed while focusing on breeding animals of excellent quality. We produce sheep that produce luxuious fiber attractive to hand-spinners and felters, plus naturally raised lamb free of hormones and chemicals.
Raw fiber is most always available for purchase as well as lamb sold on the hoof (contact me with your questions!) or whole lamb professionally butchered and delivered locally.

Hi Mudranch.
I believe that you are the photographer who I met in the Main Street Gallery, Weaverville more than a year ago. I was taken by the photos of a J.Gross of mudranch.
I work with the Trinity County Arts Council, and produce the monthly Art Cruise in Weaverville, first Sat. every month.
If you are the J. Gross, photographer, I would like to chat with you about possibly exhibiting your art (and other stuff) in one of 3 venues.
You can call me. I would like very much to chat with you. Best to call my cell; (510)701-8640. Home phone is 623-4162. (The Arts Council Office is only personed part-time.)
Hope to hear from you.
Jill Richards
